Kathie and her husband, Lonnie, moved from the Arlington area in Jacksonville to
St. Johns County in 1997 and became members of Our Saviour. She feels blessed
to have raised her two daughters in such a wonderful church environment.
Kathie and Lonnie are now both retired and are enjoying spending time with their
daughters and their families including their grandson, Myles, who is fast
approaching two years old. Kathie has been a member of the Shepherd Team
since 2018 and continues to love connecting with her “flock” with the hope of
bringing the church closer to them. She treasures these friendships that she has
made.

Ellen was born and raised in Miami along with three sisters. She grew up in the
Episcopal faith and raised her two children as Episcopalians first at Holy Trinity in
Gainesville and later at All Saints in Jacksonville. Her son lives in Jacksonville and
her daughter lives in Arizona. She began coming to Our Saviour during Lent of
2019…and found this church on the river was so welcoming! She was also truly
blessed to make the pilgrimage to Israel in 2020. She has since joined the Altar
Guild and the Shepherd Team and is also a vestry member. Ellen works in the
health care profession, enjoys outdoor activities, and exploring Florida. She loves
attending to the needs of her flock.

Adrienne is very happy to be back worshipping and serving at Our Saviour. She
grew up in this church and was married here. She raised her daughters in St.
Johns County and was very active in her church there. She is looking forward to
getting to know church members as a Shepherd.

Linda and her husband, Joe, have been attending Our Saviour since 1985. She was
very active with the Youth Ministry for more than twelve years when her children
were in their teens, spending many vacations as chaperons on mission trips. She
and her husband also instructed the Acolytes for twenty years. Linda has wanted
to be a Shepherd since the program began. She realized when a family health
emergency occurred just how important it is to stay connected with our
parishioners. The Shepherd program offers an additional means for that
connection. She has always felt the people at Our Saviour are their extended
family and she loves being a part of it.

Kerry grew up in the Washington, D.C. and Virginia areas. She and her husband,
Mike, have been attending church at Our Saviour since 2012. Their two children
were acolytes and members of the youth group. Kerry is a member of the Sew
Much Love group, the Altar Guild, and has recently taken on the Ministry
Coordinator position. She loves to read, sew and has recently begun to learn
about gardening. She also enjoys coming to Our Saviour on Saturday mornings
with her father to enjoy the church grounds. She is excited to get to know her
flock, learn from them and be available to them when needed.

Cynthia is a long-time resident of Mandarin and has been a member of Our
Saviour for two years. She and her husband, Howard, have two sons and a
granddaughter. She has been involved in ministry for over thirty five years and
has volunteered in prisons, homeless shelters, and hospice. Cynthia is an avid
artist and photographer and enjoys gardening and singing. Her love for God’s
people and a desire to serve them is what drew her to the Shepherd ministry.

Bunny has been attending Church of Our Saviour since December of 1983 when
she came to a Christmas Eve service. She was married here in 1986, her children
were baptized and confirmed here and now her granddaughters have been
baptized here. Her mother is laid to rest in the columbarium and as Bunny says
this church is her foundation. Bunny has been a lay reader for almost twenty
years, and usher and a flower deliverer as well as having served on numerous
committees over the years. She feels blessed to have felt the love of Our Saviour
in many ways, in good times and in bad and hopes to be able to give back to
others to show we are a caring community that reflects the light of Christ.

Lynn has worshipped at Our Saviour since 2002. Beginning with her Cursillo
weekend in 1990 her passion became teaching Sunday School primarily with 6 th
and 7 th graders. She and her husband, Bob, met while in high school in
Fernandina Beach and reconnected at their 50 th class reunion, both having been
widowed. They were married in the Chapel at Our Saviour in 2019. They love to
travel and especially enjoyed the trip to the Holy Land in 2020 with other
members of Our Saviour. Lynn is excited to be a part of the Shepherd team.

Wendy is originally from New Jersey but has lived in Florida for most of her life.
She has been attending Our Saviour since 2001. She and her husband, Andy, have
two adult children and a sixteen year old rescue pup. Wendy loves paddle
boarding, bike riding, gardening, baking and hanging out with friends. Wendy is
excited to be a part of the Shepherd team because she feels it is important to
reach out and let people know their church family is here for them.
